Piuma d'Oro Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Single-grove · Handpicked · Cold pressed once · Cortona, Tuscany 500ml · Harvest 2026
From our grove in the rolling hills of Cortona, this is olive oil as it should be. Handpicked by us alongside family and friends every October, pressed once within a mile of the grove on the same day as harvest. As an Olio Nuovo, it reaches you at its most vibrant, fresh from the press, full of flavor and at peak polyphenol richness. Nothing added, nothing compromised.
This extra virgin olive oil offers fresh green aromas of cut grass, olive leaf, and green almond. On the palate it is vibrant and well-balanced, with notes of various green olives. A pleasant bitterness and a lively peppery finish emerge in the throat, a hallmark of high-quality oils from Tuscany, what olive oil experts call a "two-cough" finish, the unmistakable sign of exceptional polyphenol content.
Features 3 varieties of traditional Tuscan olive trees, cultivated for their superior oil quality and flavor:
Frantoio: strong, fruity and significant after taste
Moraiolo: peppery taste with a little bitterness
Leccino: mild-flavored
Best enjoyed raw as a finishing oil over grilled meats and vegetables, soups, salads, fish or a simple bruschetta. Equally at home as a morning wellness ritual, a tablespoon taken neat, first thing.
Every bottle includes an exclusive Tuscan recipe card, illustrated and printed for the harvest year. Each year brings a new recipe, collect them all.
